It was a lovely couple of days, the cottage was lovely and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Great location with 2 great pubs nearby. Newman 12/24 Thank you for a lovely break in Ludlow. It has been a wonderful period house to stay in with lots of space for a family of 4 Pritchard family 11/24 Have stayed here twice and would thoroughly recommend it, especially for those with a sense of history. Well positioned just below the Broad Gate, 5 minutes from all amenities in the town. Lovely ancient timbering etc. inside, full of character, great views up and down the street from the bay windows. Very comfortable sofas to collapse on after a full day; well fitted kitchen and a splendidly relaxed garden for sitting out in on sunny days. Off street parking an added bonus. Peach 9/24 Really nice period cottage (much older than it looks from the outside). Good sized bedrooms (one ensuite). Brilliant location (5 minutes walk from the market) and free car parking at the owner's house just round the corner. We've stayed there 4 times in 5 years, with numbers varying from 4 to 2 guests. Good 8/24 The host Tim is adorable. We parked on his drive a 2 min walk away, free & secure parking in the centre of Ludlow, a definite bonus. Tim walked us around the corner to the cottage and chatted along the way. We went inside for guided tour and he left us in peace. It was clean, peaceful more spacious than you would think for a period property. Tim supplied breakfast cereals, milk, butter, jam, fresh baked bread you were set for your first breakfast there. The cottage is well cared for, has all the items you need in kitchen, bedrooms bathrooms etc. There is a binder full of information, suggestions & ideas to help you get the most from your visit. Read 6/24 The cottage is very nice and a good location. Jeans 5/24 When we arrived, Tim greeted us & showed us around the cottage. It was helpful having bread, milk, cereal and so on, and I had not been expecting shampoo etc as well. Nice surprise. We enjoyed our week and feel it was a good choice both from the standpoint of the house, historic and charming, and from the owner too who was informative and responded to texts quickly when I was puzzled by the drier.
